Women's KURU LOMA Jarvi, Toffee/Sand

First off, I love the color of these sandals and the fact that they are platform! They are very cute and easy to pair with many outfits. I also love that I don't have to tailor my longer pants when wearing these. They are as comfortable as strappy sandals can be - however I was hoping the edges of the straps were going to be more finished and smooth/tapered rather than looking like they were just cut from a stencil/laser cut without any burnishing. This is a small detail I can live with - from far away, you can't really tell how cheap it looks. However, one thing that bothers me in a big way is that the soles make noise with each step you make. It sounds like air being squished out of a soccer ball. If you are out and about you might not notice it, but I notice it regardless when it's quite or loud outside. It is almost enough to want to return it, BUT they are still cute and are the exact color and height that I'm looking for. Having plantar fasciitis and being a person who loves to walk everywhere, I have had to sacrifice style for comfort many times. I think I can try to live with the weird clown like squishy sounds. 😆
