    Tried and true, but not as good as previous versions

    I am hypermobile, so I need stability shoes. I have worn many different Kayano models over the years, as well as a few other brands, but I always return to the Kayano because of the excellent stability.

    These have a much thinner tongue and a weird loop over the tongue, so the fit around the ankle doesn't feel as secure without me tying them pretty tight. I am still trying to figure out the best way to tie these with that loop. It's not horrible, but not as comfortable and cushioned around the ankles as my Kayano 31's. They kept the wider toe box, which I am grateful for. And of course, the stability is great! Overall, a good stability shoe but is not quite as comfortable and cushioned as the 31.
