Men's On Cloudsurfer, Auburn/Frost, 12 D Medium

There is always a little excitement when you take new running shoes out of the box and it usually fades pretty quickly, because of initial fit, break-in issues, weight, "propulsion," speed, heat, rubbing, lacing, etc. So far, after about 20 miles, these shoes have been the exception, for me. Great fit, best time for the distance at my current age, no muscle fatigue, bunion well cushioned, best stability for a thick foam shoe and as much desire to continue at the end as at the beginning. Yeah, the "compression pods" look a little hokey, but they work, especially as they have angled them to match the weight vector at each spot in the shoe. Very light, easy to put on, good heel cushioning without slippage, no carbon plate (which the Eclipse has) but decent forward momentum. Everyone's feet and needs are different but this one works for me.
