    I like them!

    I was looking for a low profile trail runner with a wide toe box. I used to run in the Altra Superiors but I have not been happy with the changes to that shoe over the years so I thought I’d try the Topo Terraventure. The toe box is very comfy and the shoe feels responsive. I had also experienced that some trail shoes have awful traction on pavement, but these are great on multiple surfaces.

    I am docking a star because the gusset on the left shoe seems to have extra material that can push down on the top of my foot and cause discomfort. If I adjust the tongue just right it’s not an issue, but it can be annoying. Not sure if this is a manufacturer defect because the right shoe doesn’t have this issue.
