    Love this shoe

    I have been a loyalist to Altra since they first came on the scene, but aside from their wide toe bed, they have been disappointing me lately. I tried this shoe because I need a lot of cushion for my back. I am doing my best to avoid surgery at all costs. I ran roughly 2.5 miles in these shoes when I first got them.

    The run was amazing. I had no pain in my back and hips immediately after the run, nor in the days following like I normally do after running in my Max Cushion Altra models. The toe bed was definitely roomy enough for me, and I am able to run a lot more than I used to thanks to the comfort and the cushion.
